The Effect of Group Art Therapy with NLP(Neuro Linguistic Programming) Technic on the Self-directed Learning Readiness of Lower-income Group Students in a Middle School

Abstract
The purpose of this study is to prove the effectiveness of group art therapy with NLP technic on self-directed learning readiness of lower-income group students in a middle school. The subjects of this study w lower-income group students in a middle school and the program in this study was adapted for the. The were 24 students(8 of experimental group, 8 of comparative group, 8 of controled group) of 00 middle school in 00 Province, and they agreed to participate in this study. ontrol group pretestposttest design was adopted in this study. The experimental group students participated in the program of group art therapy with NLP, and the comparative group students in the program of group art therapy without NLP. In order to find out average value and standard deviation of self-directed learning readiness, descriptive statistics were implemented with SPSS 22.0 program. to prove the difference between the three groups results, ANCOVAwas applied. he result of this study is the self-directed learning readiness of experimental group students(lower income group students who participated in the group art therapy program with NLP) was generally higher than those of comparative group students(lower income group students who participated in the group art therapy program without NLP) and controlled group students, in the posttest data. This study tried to improve self-directed learning readiness by integrating group art therapy and NLP technic in the clinical field. This is an early study in its area.
